Have you tried Stable Diffusion with QR Code Monster? I used it for this animation, and seems like it could work for dropcaps.

are you prompting using quotation marks around the text you want? that's the first thing to check, next if still no luck, check back in two weeks. we didn't finish tuning the model for text yet, but the community wanted to play with it as-is for fun over the holidays

interesting! it was meant to draw words than single giant typographic letters but thanks for the example, we can add it to our test suites. tbh we put text in this release but weren't sure how people would use it. definitely will improve across the board in two weeks in a major way.
